"My Laughter Yoga Retreat (21 Days Plus)" helps you develop your laughter, health, wellbeing, joy happiness, (relationships and teambuilding). Benefits of Laughter and Happiness: Laughter has many psychological, emotional, and physical healing benefits, including: releasing stress, lowering blood pressure,boosting the immune system, toning core muscles, natural pain killer, stimulates creativity, productivity, and motivation, exercising your lungs and heart, and elevating mood, dissolves distressing emotions such as sadness, anxiousness or anger. Clinical research has also proven that laughter lowers the level of stress hormones (cortisol, epinephrine, etc) in the blood. This reduces the feelings of stress. The yogic breathing part of laughter sessions has additional stress-busting benefits. Yogic breating is a gentle aerobic exercise which oxygenates the blood and body, which leads you feeling energized. These are just a few of the many benefits of laughter and yogic breathing. There are no requirements or prerequisites to taking this course, yet an open mind and a willingness to let your inner child out (publicly) will be helpful. A good rule of thumb is: “no new pain”. Listen to your body. If you have a heart or asthma condition – you may want to ask your doctor before starting the course. You do not need to be funny or happy. You just have to fake it! Your teacher, Jeannette, was certified as a Laughter Yoga Teacher by Herdis Dyvik in 2012. Jeannette started practising yoga in 1994 and has trained various forms of yoga, taiji, meditation, pilates, feldenkrais, somatics etc. She is among others also trained in Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, pain removal, different ways of diagnosis, anatomy, physiology, trauma therapy, holistic therapy, family therapy, BUQI, healing, auratransformation, rapid personal transformation etc.
